Your voice can create change – inside and beyond VetPartners

EVERY time someone completes our Colleague Engagement Survey, VetPartners donates £1 or 1 euro to our Charity of the Year – one of the ways we’ve put giving back at the heart of the business.

Over the past three years, your participation in the survey has helped us donate £21,338 to support important causes, including Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust, StreetVet, World Land Trust, Vetlife, Irish Guide Dogs and Guide Dogs NI.

By taking a few minutes to share your views, you’re not only helping shape our future – you’re also helping make a difference beyond VetPartners.

Whether it is supporting the care of working horses and donkeys in Gambia, backing conservation projects to restore the planet’s most endangered habitats or helping pet owners experiencing homelessness, we’re able to donate to causes close to the hearts of our colleagues.

This year, Vetlife will benefit from every completed survey from colleagues in GB, and Irish Guide Dogs and Guide Dogs NI will benefit from responses from Ireland, helping us to continue supporting the vital work they do for the veterinary community.

Giving back is something colleagues have told us matters.

Feedback from previous surveys has highlighted a desire to see more opportunities to support charities and get involved in volunteering.

Through VetPartners’ overseas volunteering fund, colleagues can support worthy causes while boosting their clinical skills by working often in the most challenging conditions.

Whether in Africa or Asia, vets and RVNs can apply for funding to undertake clinical work with animal charities across the world.

So far 112 colleagues have received grants, totalling £191,443 to work in 27 different countries such as Botswana, Cambodia, Grenada, India, Malawi and Thailand.

Some 37 charities, including Mission Rabies, Worldwide Veterinary Service and Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust, have benefited from the care, skills and expertise of our vets and veterinary nurses – making a real difference to animals and communities around the world.

It’s another example of how your feedback can have an impact far beyond our own organisation. By completing this year’s survey, you’ll be helping to support Vetlife, Guide Dogs NI or Irish Guide Dogs and the vital work they do for their communities.

So, when your survey invitation arrives on September 14th, take a few minutes to have your say. Every voice matters – and together, we can make a difference.
