Strong Clinical Communities
Everyone within VetPartners is welcome to join our network of clinical board communities to share experience and knowledge.
Within our clinical communities we have three species boards - small animal, farm and equine. These boards are a group of motivated volunteers from across our practices that represent our clinical teams and include nurses, vet techs, practice managers, lab team members and vets of all levels of experience including new graduates, general practitioners, and specialists.
The species boards work closely with a wide array of Clinical Interest Groups (CIGs) which enable people with similar clinical interests to share their knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise across the group providing support and mentorship.

The Clinical Board comprises a network of clinical communities. We welcome those from all roles within our practice teams to bring together a wide range of experience, interests and expertise. Our species boards engage with clinical teams in the wider group to lead Quality Improvement (QI) activities, support in-practice research and champion evidence-based veterinary medicine.
They also support our Clinical Interest Groups (CIGs), to share knowledge, skills, experience and expertise and form a conduit for case discussions and advice internally. We champion collective clinical leadership and support our teams in lifelong professional development.
‘It is immensely rewarding both personally and professionally to work with a group of diverse but forward-thinking people on the clinical board to create evidence-based, relevant material that can be shared throughout VetPartners’
Susan Farr MRCVS, Abbey Veterinary Group

At VetPartners we are fortunate to have an engaging and approachable Clinical Board Support Team (CBST) with both clinical and extensive research experience. To learn more about the work of the CBST and how they empower our teams to undertake clinical quality improvement and research, click here.
