OUR veterinary nurses are the heartbeat of our practices and play a central role in ensuring the best care of our patients.
We’re committed to supporting their development and helping them to feel valued by organising CPD and high quality training just for them.

Vet nurses from across our Ireland practices gathered for a day of CPD on veterinary physiotherapy.
Rehabilitation vet Dr Laura Dougan was a speaker at the event in Dundalk and was joined by RVN Tania Lawlor who discussed how nurses should approach physiotherapy and physiotherapy consultations. Lesley Hobson, a vet from the event sponsors Zoetis, discussed the use of analgesia in cats and dogs.

VetPartners Ireland Business Development Manager Austin Donnelly said: “We really value our veterinary nurses and want to maximise their potential. As part of a holistic approach to the care of our patients, they are a very important part of the team for ensuring the possible outcomes for patients.”
Sarah Doran, Head Nurse at All Creatures Veterinary Group in County Monaghan, was among those who attended the physiotherapy day.

Sarah, pictured far left, said: “The physiotherapy CPD provided nurses with the tools to improve our patient welfare through active pain management and incorporation of physio techniques.
"It was a very enjoyable and informative event, and we are excited to put our new knowledge to use in practice.”
Other events are planned for veterinary nurses across the VetPartners Ireland family.
