THREE caring and dedicated veterinary nurses have been rewarded with a VetPartners Nettie for demonstrating our values.
Catherine Morris, Catriona Lynch and Amy Snell were nominated by their colleagues for the support they show in their practices.
They will receive a £250 Love2Shop voucher, a cuddly mascot and a certificate for demonstrating our values of being respectful, supportive, dedicated, approachable and collaborative.
Amy, who works at Avondale Vets, deserves the award because of the positive impact on the practice and for supporting students she helps to mentor.
Over the past six months, more than 25 students have had work experience at their Rathdrum branch.
Practice Manager Jenna Jackson said: “I really appreciate her dedication to mentoring and supporting the next generation of veterinary professionals. She provides a supportive and encouraging environment for them to learn. She is truly inspirational which helps to support the wider community.”
Catherine, an RVN at Gortlands Vets, was praised for her dedication and hard work to support colleagues and clients alike.
She loves using her artistic skills to design seasonal display boards in the waiting room, runs quizzes and competitions for colleagues and organised a fundraising event for VetPartners chosen charity of the year, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Catriona, who is lead nurse at Riverview Vets in Carrigaline, recently took on responsibility of head nurse for all five of Riverview Veterinary Group’s clinics.
Riverview vet Anna Jones, who works at Carrigaline, said: “On behalf of myself, our practice manager Paula Woulfe and our Clinical Director Michael Sexton, we want to say thank you to Catriona by nominating her for a Nettie and let her know how much we appreciate her work.”
