ENCOURAGING clients to have their pets vaccinated is the main aim of our latest practice campaign.
Our Vaccination Re-Engagement activity is now underway and will run until August 31st.
The aim is to increase the number of cats and dogs being vaccinated in your practice and to restart conversations with clients about the importance of vaccinating and why protecting their pets is vital to their continued safety and wellbeing.
The activity is aimed at dog and cat owners with unvaccinated pets, whether their core vaccinations have lapsed beyond three months or they have adult pets that have never had core vaccinations.
For dogs, the core vaccinations cover Distemper, infectious Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis. For cats, the core vaccinations cover enteritis and cat flu, as well as the feline leukaemia vaccination for all outdoor cats.
By booking appointments to have their pet vaccinated, it also gives clients the opportunity to have their pet’s health checked.

Encouraging pet owners to vaccinate their pets is vital because, sadly, many of our practices still see outbreaks of diseases that can be vaccinated against, including Parvovirus, Leptospirosis and Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease, more commonly known as Kennel Cough.
Through the campaign, practices are encouraged to invite clients to either start or restart their pet’s vaccination course for the price of a booster.
If training is required by practice team members, please reach out to your Business Development Director or your Business Support Manager.
Using PMS data, IRecall will identify pets who are lapsed with their core vaccinations and send SMS messages together with up to 3 email reminders to clients. A letter will also be sent to those clients for whom we do not have mobile or email contact details.

Posters and leaflets have been developed to support the vaccination re-engagement campaign and offer in practice and to highlight why vaccination is so important. They are available to order via pawprintportal.co.uk. For Pawprint log-in details for your practice please contact marketing@vetpartners.co.uk
TV screen materials have also been produced which should be displayed during the campaign (16 June – 31 August 2025).
