Boost for VetPartners Ireland as we welcome new BSM Lisa

VETPARTNERS Ireland has been boosted by the arrival of new Business Support Manager Lisa Colleary.


Lisa brings 12 years’ experience as an RVN, head nurse and practice manager across various practices in Ireland.


She will support practices with Pet Health Plans and insurance matters, as well as helping with integration of new practices and line management structures.


She will also help deliver VetPartners’ Developing Leaders course and the Client Matters and Practice Matters workshops which have already proved popular in Ireland.


Part of her focus will be on training and mentoring more head nurses at VetPartners Ireland practices.


Lisa said: “People working in practice are so dedicated and I love helping them to reach their full potential, so I’m looking forward to supporting colleagues in Ireland. VetPartners has a culture of empowering each other and supporting each other, and I am pleased to be part of it.”


As well as a background in small animal practice, Lisa has a wealth of knowledge of equine and large animals. She is a part-time farmer with cattle, sheep and horses at her home in County Meath.


VetPartners Ireland Business Development Director Austin Donnelly said: "We're growing rapidly and it is a important for us to have a dedicated BSM for VetPartners Ireland to support practices across the island of Ireland.


"We are a vet-led business and we now have a veterinary nurse is a key position to support our nurses, bring a deeper perspective and understanding of challenges and develop our teams.
